Xiamen during May holiday?

Hi!

I'm thinking to go to Xiamen during May holiday.
Anyone else going there? Checking the rates at asia gulf hotel as it's near the kite spot.

Hi Tobias,

Have you tried Pingtan ? It's nearby xiamen but usually have better wind. There is a kite club there.

The trip though is more difficult as you have to take a bus for 2-3 hours from the airport to there and time schedule is a bit sketchy.

What about shanghai, wind is good on this season

I have been a few times to Xiamen and this time it works well as I have business trip in the area.
Need a "safe" place as it's my third time on the board and now with new equipment.
How often are you on water around shanghai?

Pingtan is quite safe too, with a club there you can actually take lessons.

In Shanghai ? As soon as there is wind.
